Chapter 19—part 3: Mystery Babylon (MB) works for God!
Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom, part 59—MB uses USA to gather and crush the world
We begin today exactly where we left off in the part 58. To begin to explain my understanding of the stone and the kingdom, look at Daniel 2:44 once again.
We have noted how “the God of heaven set up a kingdom” and while this kingdom, this mountain, is now in captivity to Mystery Babylon, the verse goes on to assure us that despite the present travail, this kingdom shall not be destroyed.
The enemy seeks to destroy it, but they will fail. And despite the fact that they have control over it now, it is temporary because the verse also assures us that the kingdom shall not be left to other people. They will have control for a time, but it will not be left to them.
Meanwhile, God is using Mystery Babylon to punish us, and to accomplish His Plan. He is so clever! Because all the while Mystery Babylon thinks she is gathering all nations into a one-world government subservient to her will, God will step in at the last minute and say, “Thank you very much; I’ll take it from here.”
You see, while our focus is on America as the stone kingdom, and on financial Babylon’s grip on us, it is also an historical fact that Financial Babylon has been diligently at work these past couple of centuries in the British Isles, in Europe and elsewhere around the globe.
They financed Napoleon as he brought papal Rome to its knees; but again remember, the papacy has not disappeared. Back to Micah 4 now.
In America, in the 20th century and until today, the stone kingdom has been used by Mystery Babylon to crush and destroy nations. And remember, we have said there is a distinction between the stone and the kingdom, but for a time they are used as one entity by Mystery Babylon to supposedly accomplish her purposes.
The USA is like the Roman empire of old, only more so. They had legions all over the empire. But the Roman empire was limited essentially to parts of Europe and North Africa and the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Today, the USA has troops stationed in something like 162 foreign nations all over the globe.
Those troops comprise individuals from all races, colors, creeds and religions. Those troops represent the USA, the stone kingdom. And what is this stone kingdom doing under the thumb of God’s hired prison guards known as Mystery Babylon? Here’s what is happening. Remember this passage from last time: “10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth? We’ll begin in Micah 4:8.
Micah 4: 8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
I am fairly certain I stopped there last time, but let’s continue now:
11 Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
Does that not fit America to a tee? Because of what Mystery Babylon has done in the name of America in the past hundred years, it has caused most of the nations of the world to despise us. And any sizable nation with the capability to do so has sent swarms of agents here to spy on us and obtain anything they can. “Let our eye look upon Zion,” they say, and it is not with good intent!
12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
What floor is that, do you suppose? It is the threshing floor. So God says to end-time Israel:
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD [Yahweh], and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
Did you notice? God says that He will take all their gain and consecrate it to the Himself. That is the point I was making a minute ago. Mystery Babylon is gaining and gathering all the nations into a one-world government, and they are using their present control over the stone kingdom to do it.
In other words, they are using our boys and our wallets. They are using our blood and our treasure to confiscate the world. And yet, they don’t know it, but they are doing it on behalf of God. In that connection, some of you might remember that Lloyd Blankfein, the CEO of Goldman Sachs, was famously quoted as saying that he was doing God’s work.
In an commentary by Jonathan Weil in Bloomberg News, however, apparently Blankfein did not mean it. (Surprise, surprise!) Mr. Weil writes:
“What’s the difference between Lloyd Blankfein and the Blues Brothers of 1980 cinema fame? Elwood, the felonious musician played by Dan Aykroyd, meant it when he said he and his brother Jake were on a mission from God. Blankfein wants to take his own similar words back. ...Yes, it’s true, Blankfein did tell a reporter for the Sunday Times of London that he’s just a banker ‘doing God’s work,’ ... And, no, Blankfein didn’t mean for these words to be taken seriously, according to the bank’s spokesman, Lucas van Praag.”
Okay, we are still on verse 13 of Micah 4, and there is more to share here. First, the similarity of this verse to Daniel 2, verses 44 & 45 is obvious. Secondly, I want to zero in on the very center of verse 13, where it says: “thou shalt beat in pieces many people.”
Who is thou? That is Israel, the stone kingdom, beating in pieces many people. Here’s the meanings for the Hebrew word translated “beat in pieces:”
It means to crush, pulverize, thresh, make dust of. It’s also translated in the noun form as powder. And now let me refresh our memories on what Jesus said to the Jewish leaders about the kingdom. Verses you’ve heard me quote several times already in this series, but here’s some further insight. Jesus said in
Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Ministers have a tendency to spiritualize anything they do not understand, but can you see how this is happening now as the USA dominates the world. All nations know that you do not mess with the USA or you will get ground to powder.
Just ask Saddam Hussein, or just ask Muammar Kaddafi, or just ask Manuel Noriega, or Hosni Mubarak. And all of these guys at one time were playing ball with the USA. Or to put it in biblical parlance, With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, (Rev. 17:2).
“Wait a minute, James. Are you saying that America is Mystery Babylon?” Well, I know that some have taught that, but if you have been understanding me at all in these past several lectures, then you should know that America is not Mystery Babylon. However, our government has been doing the bidding of Mystery Babylon for quite some time, because God sold us (Israel) into captivity to them!
And we are not going to get out of this captivity until the appointed time. Now in 2020, that time is now within sight. Some of you know that President Kennedy was preparing to free us from the Federal Reserve System by having the U. S. Treasury print silver certificates.
There are many theories on why he was assassinated, but he, too, is an example of an individual leader who attempted to buck Mystery Babylon and was crushed and ground to powder. You see, even with those who play ball with her, she ultimately turns on her own and destroys them when they are no longer useful to her.
Turn to Zechariah 12 for another witness of what happens when nations and kings or rulers of the earth try to mess with the stone kingdom. So in addition to the book of Daniel, today we have seen the stone kingdom in Micah, in Isaiah, and now in Zechariah, chapter 12. Zechariah is two books before Matthew.
Remember, this is all in the time context of the imperfect stone kingdom, when it is under the control of Mystery Babylon; when the stone kingdom is full of all manner of people, of wheat and tares, and of good seed and bad seed. That is the condition of the stone kingdom at the present time. And God says in …
Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Is Zechariah referring to the old city of Jerusalem, or to the New Jerusalem? Did you notice how God stuck the USA right in the middle of the word? I believe this refers to prophetic Jerusalem, the New Jerusalem, for several reasons, but we are interested here in the fact that it calls Jerusalem a burdensome stone.
I will certainly grant that one could see this as applying to the old city, but does it possibly have a dual fulfillment, with one being hidden from the understanding of most Christians? I think so. Because here again we find the idea that anyone that messes with the USA is going to be cut in pieces, ground to powder.
There is a whole lot more to be learned and unlearned concerning the book of Daniel, the stone kingdom, and the ancient of days, in particular. For example, I know some of you are looking for more explanation on how the ancient of days is America. Not to worry. I have much more still to come.
But I will close today by just briefly mentioning a book I have had lying around for a couple of years and have never read. I bought it because the title intrigued me. It’s called Sacred Number and the Origins of Civilization.
I just happened to pick it up a couple nights ago, and flipping through the table of contents, my eye was immediately drawn to the final chapter, entitled: “Building the New Jerusalem.” This is a book written from a secular perspective, not Christian at all. But does that mean there is no truth in it? No, perhaps there is; and so we must always read with discernment.
I suspect that a good many in my audience have seen maps of, or are familiar with the seeming Masonic design incorporated in the layout of Washington, D.C. This chapter goes beyond that.
The author, Richard Heath, makes the case that the Knights Templar or their descendants were involved in this grand project which has encoded in it the geometry of New Jerusalem as found in the Book of Revelation.
In other words, a cubed city with all of its sides being 12,000 furlongs. I found it a delight that even a secular—some would even say an occult work on sacred geometry—confirms what we believe; namely, that America—symbolized by its capital city—is the New Jerusalem of Bible prophecy. Hallelujah! (End of chapter 19. Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom series to be continued.)
