Charlotte Conference Hotel Room Block Expanded
Charlotte Conference Hotel Room Block Expanded
Our initial room block has already sold out and the Marriott South Park has graciously expanded our room block at the same room rate. The Marriott is not obligated to continue expanding the room block (we hope they will), so do not procrastinate in making your reservation for this event!
If you find the block is sold out again, please contact my office (828-277-7733) and leave a voicemail and I will try to arrange to have more rooms added again. However, this cannot be guaranteed. You will not want to miss this Conference. I expect to post soon in this blog space an essay (not written by me) which will detail prophetic reasons why this Conference will be special.
The hotel does not have complimentary airport shuttle service. Therefore, if you are planning to arrive by air and are not wishing to rent a car, please let me know and I will try to arrange volunteers to provide that service.
Since mailing out our March issue of Feed My Sheep, I have a commitment from Alan Newton (from SC) to join our teacher/speaker’s roster. Some of you may have met Alan at last fall’s Conference in Branson. (He was also on our “Q” Panel Discussion, which is available on audio CD {$10 ppd.}, or on DVD {$20 ppd.} from our offices.) For many years, Alan has studied the deeper things of God’s Word through his study and understanding of the Hebrew language.
For more details on the Conference, I am reproducing here below part of the cover letter of the March FMS mailing.
We are very excited about the upcoming Bible Conference in Charlotte! Do not delay in making your reservations. The cut-off date for obtaining the reduced room rates is May 16th. To make the Conference accessible to as many people as possible, there is no fee to attend the Conference. However, we would like to know that you are planning to come, so kindly drop us a note, a voicemail (828-277-7733), or even an email (Please put “Charlotte Conference” in the subject line).
Besides just having a head-count for planning purposes, another reason we want your names in advance is because we will print out name badges on which we intend to display an SKM logo. We have never had a logo, but recently my assistant and I have been refining what I hope will be both beautiful and unique in its symbolism! If you cannot attend, but wish to help defray our costs to hold the Conference, just include a note with your gift.
The invited and confirmed speakers to date are: Rob Corry, PA; Stephen Jones, of God’s Kingdom Ministries, MN; and James Bruggeman, NC. (More pending.) {Now includes Alan Newton.}
Feast of Pentecost Bible Conference
When: June 7, 8, 9, 2019 Where: Charlotte Marriott South Park, 2200 Rexford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211
Room rates are $108 for either a king-room or a room with two queen-size beds. All prices are per night and before taxes. All reservations must be accompanied by a one-night deposit or be guaranteed with a major credit card. This is refundable if the reservation is cancelled early enough so they can re-book the room—general policy is 48 hours in advance, but I am awaiting verification of that.
The rates apply Thursday night through Sunday night. A large percentage of attendees at our Conferences arrive on Thursday and check out on Monday. To make your reservation, call either the Marriott central reservations number (800-228-9290) or call directly to the hotel at 704-364-8220. When making the reservation, you must let them know you are a part of the Stone Kingdom Ministries Conference Group to qualify for this rate. On-site parking is free, but you can use valet parking for $15 per day.
We will commence the Conference at 9 a.m. Friday. We have the room until 9 p.m. each night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Let us be prepared to move out of the meeting room and have our fellowship elsewhere after 9 p.m.
