Moe Davis, NOT for Congress
A “tare in wolf’s clothing”
I post the following because I want it to serve as an example of what could be happening in your Congressional and/or Senate race as well, no matter where you live in the USA.
The purpose of this blog is to stir Christians everywhere in America to wake up, turn off the fake news, do your homework, and get involved to elect (or keep) good people in the House and/or Senate. And don’t forget your state-level candidates as well. We are getting down to the wire.
Regular readers of these blogs have become familiar with a young man, Madison Cawthorn, who has become a friend of mine, and who is running on the Republican side to fill the seat vacated when my former Congressman, Mark Meadows, became Chief of Staff for President Trump.
(Above: Madison Cawthorn)
Perhaps some of you saw Madison’s short and inspiring speech as one of the speakers at the Republican National Convention. Now that the general election campaign is in full swing, the gloves come off. Asheville-area Democrat, Moe Davis, is a “tare in wolf’s clothing” if you will permit me the mixed metaphor.
In a tweet, Davis attacked Madison thus: “My 25 year old homeschooled, college-dropout, lying, white nationalist friendly, misogynistic, sexual aggressive, multimillionaire (with no job) opponent with policy views that would make George Wallace proud has the full weight of the Republican Party behind him.”
Yes, Moe, and not only the “full weight of the Republican Party,” but Madison also now has the full-throated endorsement of President Trump, who at a recent appearance here in Western North Carolina told Madison “you are going to be a star in the Republican Party.”
To add further to your worries, Moe, in the past week, a Political Action Committee (PAC), which is, by law, independent of candidates, began running short TV ads exposing another embarrassing tweet by Moe Davis (or maybe he is not embarrassed by it). Here is a link to the ad made by the PAC. Click on the graphic on the PAC page.
And here is the text of the tweet itself:
“Screw they go low, we go high bullsh*t. When @NCGOP extremists go low, we stomp their scrawny pasty necks with our heels and once you hear the sound of a crisp snap you grind your heel hard and twist it slowly side to side for good measure. He needs to know who whupped his ass.” Source.
I ask you: Does this reflect the mind of a man who merely has political disagreements with Republicans, or is this some kind of ingrained hatred for those who have Christian values?
The tares no longer can hide. The fruitless heads of tares everywhere are arrogantly sticking straight up as they push violently to destroy all Christian values and turn this embryonic Kingdom of Heaven (America) into a satanic, totalitarian, dystopian nightmare.
Awake, Christians! Awake! Get involved in putting good people in government. I trust in our Father’s Plan, but His Plan involves Lawful action on the part of His people! We do not advocate violence and hatred as Morris Davis does. It is clearly evidenced by his tweets.
