Thoughts on the coronavirus
Is this The Big One? The pandemic that could wipe out a sizeable portion of the world’s population? Perhaps, but in my opinion, based on history since 1900, it is much more likely that it will turn out to be relatively small.
In the great Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918-19, approximately 675,000 Americans died. Estimates range that anywhere from 40 to 90 million people perished worldwide. Presently, roughly 10,000 die from the flu every year in America.
In our critical thinking process, one of the first questions to ask ourselves should be, Cui bono? (Latin for “Who benefits?” I.e., follow the money!) Who benefits from either a real or a phony pandemic scare?
The history of the past few decades shows that these pandemic hoaxes create immense profits for the multinational pharmaceutical giants as they produce millions of doses of new vaccines to supposedly halt the pandemic. Do you remember the Ebola, SARS, swine flu, and avian flu scares? Here’s more about the recent history of pandemic scares in an incisive blog from Jon Rappoport titled: Is the new ‘deadly China virus’ a covert operation?
In connection with the coronavirus being a Chinese covert operation, what is even more interesting is this press release from Attorney General Bill Barr’s Department of Justice (DOJ), titled: Harvard University Professor and Two Chinese Nationals Charged in Three Separate China Related Cases.
What comes to my mind as I read the DOJ press release is that Professor Dr. Charles Lieber, 60, who is the Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard also had a second job—at Wuhan University of Technology, in the very city which is the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak! What a coincidence! Wuhan, which also happens to be where the only declared site in China capable of working with biowarfare-level viruses is located. Another coincidence, no doubt! Here are some details from the DOJ press release. (All emphases mine.—JWB)
According to court documents, since 2008, Dr. Lieber who has served as the Principal Investigator of the Lieber Research Group at Harvard University, which specialized in the area of nanoscience, has received more than $15,000,000 in grant funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Department of Defense (DOD). These grants require the disclosure of significant foreign financial conflicts of interest, including financial support from foreign governments or foreign entities.
Unbeknownst to Harvard University beginning in 2011, Lieber became a “Strategic Scientist” at Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) in China and was a contractual participant in China’s Thousand Talents Plan from in or about 2012 to 2017. China’s Thousand Talents Plan is one of the most prominent Chinese Talent recruit plans that are designed to attract, recruit, and cultivate high-level scientific talent in furtherance of China’s scientific development, economic prosperity and national security.
In other words, the Thousand Talents Plan is a fancy name for an espionage program.
These talent programs seek to lure Chinese overseas talent and foreign experts to bring their knowledge and experience to China and reward individuals for stealing proprietary information. Under the terms of Lieber’s three-year Thousand Talents contract, WUT paid Lieber $50,000 USD per month, living expenses of up to 1,000,000 Chinese Yuan (approximately $158,000 USD at the time) and awarded him more than $1.5 million to establish a research lab at WUT.
In return, Lieber was obligated to work for WUT “not less than nine months a year” by “declaring international cooperation projects, cultivating young teachers and Ph.D. students, organizing international conference[s], applying for patents and publishing articles in the name of “WUT.”
Furthermore, the DOJ release gave these details in the charges against one of the two Chinese nationals, Zaosong Zheng.
In August 2018, Zheng entered the United States on a J-1 visa and conducted cancer-cell research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston from Sept. 4, 2018, to Dec. 9, 2019. It is alleged that on Dec. 9, 2019, Zheng stole 21 vials of biological research and attempted to smuggle them out of the United States aboard a flight destined for China.
Hmmm... wasn’t that about the time that the coronavirus is said to have begun in Wuhan? What a coincidence! Did his fellow Chinese national, Yanqing Ye, or some other comrade in the months or weeks prior, succeed in smuggling the “coronavirus” to Wuhan? I am speculating, of course, but again quoting the DOJ press release regarding Yanqing Ye:
According to the indictment, Ye is a Lieutenant of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), the armed forces of the People’s Republic of China and member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)… [W]hile studying at Boston University’s (BU) Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering from October 2017 to April 2019, Ye continued to work as a PLA Lieutenant completing numerous assignments from PLA officers such as conducting research, assessing U.S. military websites and sending U.S. documents and information to China.
Regardless of how, when and where the coronavirus began infecting people, if things go badly and we are told it is now a grave threat to all Americans, one should not depend on any level of government to guarantee one’s own safety and health. To that end, I have always tried to the best of my ability to be prepared for all sorts of emergencies. I am not a medical doctor and thus I cannot diagnose or prescribe.
Nevertheless, here is information I can share with you. For the possibility of any epidemic or pandemic (or just plain old colds and flu), I always have an assortment of Young Living Essential Oils in ready reserve. (Full disclosure: SKM has been a member/distributor of Young Living products since 1998.) In this case, my go-to oil would be the essential oil blend from Young Living called “Thieves.”
The name derives from the legend that, in the time of the bubonic and/or Black Plague during the Middle Ages, certain spice traders were discovered to be immune from becoming infected with the plague. It was surmised that the essential oils of certain plants were the reason.
Modern science has shown that indeed, the component, individual oils in the “Thieves” blend have among them the properties of being anti-bacterial, anti-viral, antiseptic, anti-fungal, and more.
Studies conducted at Weber State University (Ogden, UT) during 1997 demonstrated its [Thieves] killing power against airborne microorganisms. One analysis showed a 90 percent reduction in the number of gram positive Micrococcus luteus organisms after diffusing for 12 minutes. After 20 minutes of diffusing, the kill-rate jumped to 99.3 percent.
Another study against the gram negative Pseudomonas aeruginosa showed a kill rate of 99.96 percent after just 12 minutes diffusion. (Source: Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th Edition, 1997, pp. 139-140)
Here is a link with more on “Thieves,” including the various legends extant. If you should you wish to obtain a bottle or two to have on hand, we would appreciate your mentioning SKM as your referrer. (Stone Kingdom Ministries distributor/member #130633). Or simply go to my Young Living website, where your order will be automatically credited to SKM. Thank you!
