Hubble Ultra Deep Field 3D Worship
As is common to mankind, I have marveled at the night sky ever since childhood. Over the years of my adulthood, the more I have learned about the universe, the ever more awestruck I have become at its sheer immensity, its astounding beauty and its precision of operation.
To me, it is an act of worship to our heavenly Father and Creator to simply fall on my knees as I experience more and more of His creation unfolding to us through such marvelous inventions that He has provided us, such as the Hubble space telescope. As I watched and listened to this 4:17 video, I praised Him to the utmost and these two Scriptures came to mind.
The first is an acknowledgement of His great love towards us as we recognize just how infinitesimally tiny we are in comparison to His universe. Psalm 8:4 What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?
The second begins with a famous verse (used in Handel’s Messiah oratorio)—a verse which just yesterday I had reason to bring in to my lecture, The Ancient of Days and America. (Lecture #18 in my series Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom.)
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,…
I have often thought of this passage (especially the phrase “of the INCREASE of his government…no end”) in connection with what astronomers tell us is an ever-expanding universe. Will it expand forever? It would appear so, otherwise, how could His government be always increasing and have no end to its increase?!! Here is the video. Praise Ye the Lord!
